My name's Ashley!

I created this blog to help others realize that life isn't constant butterflies and rainbows.

But it is packed full of beautiful moments, opportunities, and joy. Don't worry. The whole blog isn't based around being a pessimistic, loathe-in-the-dark, "I hate the world" person, but it is realistic. Every day isn't fantastic. People die. Friends fade. Tragedy strikes. This blog includes and acknowledges those things too.

At this point you're likely wondering who I am and what I'm about so let's talk.

My name is Ashley and I'm a 34 year old mom of one incredible kid with Autism. I'm also a wife of almost five years and I've loved writing and creating my entire life. My passion for writing started at a very young age and I've harnessed it off and on throughout every phase but I decided that 2026 is the year the seriousness behind my passion kicks in. My blog is that starting point and as the blog progresses you'll get to see a plethora of emotion, intention, dedication, and healing.

So what is this blog really? What won't you find here?

What This is.

First and foremost, this is a safe space. I know how cliche that sounds but it's true. I'm very open minded and very real in my emotions. I may word vomit in some blog posts. I may cry while I'm writing, and you'll likely be able to tell. But ma'am, that's life and this is real life shit.

And much, much more as the years go on. This is not a squeaky clean blog where there's a set niche. I am a mom, wife, woman, serial entrepreneur, part time server, adventurer, home school parent, a huge personality and an even bigger heart. I won't be able to contain myself into a tiny four-walled box, which leads me to...

What This is NOT.

Although you probably already see a pattern, I'll break a short list down for you!

This is not...

• A niche blog - I love A LOT of people, places, topics, businesses, etc. I couldn't possibly narrow it down to just one thing, at least at this current moment.

• Frills & Photoshop - I am not setting out to be the prettiest, most put together blogger. I'm natural 99.8% of the time and my house is a mess.

• A place for hate - we're not doing it fam.

• Advice - although I feel strongly about some things, I'm not giving you advice on any topic. This is just a raw version of my life and opinions.
